Off-Campus Access
To consult all the subscribed digital library resources from home, and to download the documents, follow this procedure.
On your first access, you will be asked to authenticate your details: insert your university email credentials: matricola@studenti.uniupo.it and the password.
University staff: nome.cognome@uniupo.it and password
After authentication:
For desktop/laptops: Download the Pulse Secure client version for your operating system and install it following the instructions. Open Pulse Secure, click on the + button and enter: "name: biblio" "URL server: ssl.unipmn.it/biblio", leaving the other fields blank. Save for subsequent logins. Click on CONNECT and enter with your credentials. At the first connection, the message that you are already connected may appear, click on CONTINUE. Minimise the client page, but do not close it. At this point you can use the electronic resources as if you were on the university network. For subsequent logins, use the Pulse Secure client directly. When you are finished, remember to log out.
For smartphone or tablet: Download the Pulse Secure app version from the Google Play store or the App Store and install it. Open the app and enter in the field "Enter the company email address or the URL provided by the company": ssl.unipmn.it/biblio. Click on SEND. Enter in the field "Connection name: biblio", in the URL leave ssl.unipmn.it/biblio; leave the other fields blank. Click on ADD. Click on CONNECT. Enter with your credentials. At this point you can use electronic resources as if you were on the university network When you are finished, remember to disconnect from Pulse Secure.
