Activity and fields of competence

Our group is considered a leader in the purification and characterisation of the polarized inflammatory phenotype of tumour-associated macrophages, in in vitro studies of polarised activation of macrophages, in the functional differentiation, maturation and characterization of dendritic cells and in studies of the effects of hypoxia on functional phenotype of inflammatory cells. Our group has also developed considerable experience in the creation and study of several pre-clinical models of intestinal and hepatic carcinogenesis.
